Learn how to see creatively

Compositional techniques and the rule of thirds
Practical based workshops
Tuition is largely practical and very much hands-on, with theory and explanation along the way. Our workshops are designed to enable you to get the most from your camera and encourage your creativity both out in the field and on the computer. The aim is to help you learn how to make better use of your camera and therefore create better images. Sarah will also share with you some of her techniques that she employs in her own photography.
We offer tuition to suit all abilities. Whether you are a complete beginner, a keen amateur new to the exciting world of digital photography, "converting" from traditional film photography or just getting to grips with a new camera we can tailor your tuition accordingly to help you to get the most from your camera and improve your photography.
One to one and small group tuition
Tuition is offered on a one to one or small group basis, with a maximum of eight participants, enabling you to really benefit from the dedicated attention of your tutor.
You will need to bring your own camera, it doesn’t matter if it’s a basic point and shoot or an advanced DSLR, the fundamentals apply to them all. Please ensure your battery is fully charged and that you have a clean memory card and spares, just in case you get carried away with your photography!
Please be aware of the unpredictable English weather and come prepared with suitable clothing and footwear. Please note that you will be responsible for your own equipment; Image Seen take no responsibility for loss or damage of your equipment during the day.

The photographer must be absorbent...like a blotter, allow himself to be permeated by the poetic moment. His technique should be like an animal function...he should act automatically.- Robert Doisneau
