Two day Exmoor workshop - August 17th & 18th 2013

Photograph enchanting Exmoor and the north Devon coast - Weekend workshop - £355

This will be our second workshop taking in Exmoor and the North Devon coast. One of Britains smallest National Parks, Exmoor contains some of the most diverse and spectacular landscapes to be found anywhere in the country. A special combination of coast and countryside, forest and moorland, it is also one of its most unspoilt regions. Here, wide open moorland, featuring spectacular panoramic views, plunges down into deep wooded valleys where within lie rocky streams and waterfalls. Wild ponies can often be found grazing on the moor, and we also hope to catch the heather which provides a blaze of colour around this time of year. On our workshop we will take you on a photographic journey, from Tarr Steps, a prehistoric clapper bridge which spans the river Barle in the very heart of the moor, to delightful villages such as Malmsmead, Oare and Brendon along the Doone Valley. We will also visit local landmarks such the famous Robber Bridge, an ancient medieval packhorse bridge, and the mysterious Valley of the Rocks, perched above the twin towns of Lynton & Lynmouth. Nearby, the unspoilt village of Bossington is picture perfect whilst the little harbour at Porlock offers some great opportunities. For photographers seeking both beauty and tremendous variety, this wonderful region is bursting with photographic potential.
